Dr. Ole Jakob Sørdalen obtained his PhD with the Norwegian Institute of Technology in Trondheim in Engineering Cybernetics, where he also has served as adjunct professor. Dr. Sørdalen has worked with ABB, REC Singapore, and ELTEK. He has also been the Science & Technology Counsellor to South East Asia based at the Norwegian Embassy in Singapore. He worked with Innovation Norway as their Sector Head for Energy and Environment. Now, Dr. Sørdalen is a co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer of Pixii AS, responsible for business development of energy storage applications for distribution grids, commercial & industrial buildings, and micro grids.
