Sascha joined Scienlab electronic systems as a project manager in 2015. During his 8 years with Scienlab and later on Keysight, Sascha served as a product manager for several battery test systems, and as a project manager he was in charge of the planning and project execution of industrial and academic battery test laboratories all over Europe. Since 2022, Sascha is responsible for the portfolio planning of Keysight’s battery testing solutions with a focus on battery modules and packs.
Sascha holds a degree in Chemistry from University of Muenster in Muenster/ Westphalia, Germany
"Optimizing Total Cost of Ownership of Battery Test Facilities"
Battery Test Facilities face multiple total cost of ownership (TCO) issues in their business limiting the profitability of their facilities. In this presentation different approaches and solutions for CAPEX and OPEX reductions are discussed in detail. These include, among other things, intelligent resource management to optimize the utilization of testing equipment as well as definition of maintenance windows. Furthermore, it will be discussed how a scalable and holistic approach can reduce the installed power whilst keeping the required flexibility to fulfill the demands of current and power for future batteries.
